Interscale 2010

Dear Indoorflyers,

The Nijmeegse Luchtvaart Club would like to invite you for the 2010 edition of the famous Interscale competition! Interscale is well known, and is often regarded as the “unofficial” championships for free flight scale models. The competition will be held 6 and 7 November in the city of Nijmegen.
Here all the common indoor scale classes will be flown:

- Pistachio
- F4F = Peanut
- F4D = Open Scale Rubber
- F4E = Open Scale Electric and CO2
- Kit scale
- Pylon race

Judging

The judging rules used for the scale classes will be similar to the ones used in the Interscale and British Indoor Scale Nationals competitions.

Proxy flying

In the Peanut and Pistachio class it is possible to send in your model(s) for proxy flying. The entry fee for this is €10,-. Please contact us for more details. Naturally only experienced flyers will handle and fly your models. Alternatively you can arrange in advance with someone else to fly your models.

Prizes

In all classes the best three flyers will receive a prize. In all classes the highest placed junior will also receive a prize.

Preliminary schedule

Saturday 6 November: 9.00 - 18.30
Sunday 7 November: 9.00 - 18.00

A detailed schedule will be published in October on this website.

Location

The hall we will use is the Jan Massinkhal, located in the outskirts of Nijmegen.
The characteristics of the hall are: a 2400 square meters floor, height is nearly 8 meters (Cat. 1 hall). The ceiling is fairly smooth and unobstructed.
